Mutual of Omaha Voice Signature Reminders
As you continue to write business through Mutual of Omaha, we have been seeing some intermittent voice signature issues, affecting about 3% of voice signature users. As we investigate the problem, we wanted to give you some information and reminders, to assist you if you are encountering issues with clients not being able to complete the voice signature process. Here are a couple of reminders you need to complete to ensure your customers are able to complete the voice signature process:
- Make sure the application is in a pending signature status—if not the application is not ready to be signed.
- Confirm the Date of Birth and Authorization Number are correct. These must be entered correctly, or the system cannot validate the correct application and will not allow the customer to proceed with signing.
If you have made sure the above items have been correctly entered, the following steps will help remedy the voice signature issue:
- Call in again with the above information corrected, should lead to a successful signature.
- Using the eSignature option, whenever possible is a very stable process and easily allows the signature to be completed
