Bankers Fidelity Notice: Update for Sate Appointment Policy
Bankers Fidelity continually looks for ways to streamline our practices while ensuring our regulatory steps remain in place. The renewal of state required appointments and the maintenance of agent data are very time consuming. As such, we are implementing a few administrative changes to the state appointment and approval process, which went into effect October 1, 2019.
Bankers Fidelity will continue to pay state appointment fees for all newly appointed agents. The appointment renewal fees for existing agents will also be paid by Bankers Fidelity, provided the following eligibility requirements are met.
- A minimum of one new application issued within the past 12 months will be required for each state and each company in which an agent holds an active appointment. All issued business must remain inforce during the entire 12-month period.
Failure to meet this requirement will result in the termination of your appointment in that state/company.
